It started with a simple irritation
Arbor began in 2018 because accounting felt like a queue. Matt Saunders, a registered Chartered Accountant, had spent fifteen years across auditing, financial management in publishing and print media, and executive roles in financial services, then private equity in London, working across real estate, manufacturing and digital media in Poland, the Netherlands, Australia and the United States.
He built Arbor around the things that were missing: service you can reach by name, plain language, fixed fees agreed up front, and the inside knowledge of how SARS actually works.
